Data Analytics Internship

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Intern:

• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing from multiple sources
• Work with SQL and spreadsheets to organize large datasets
• Run exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and insights
• Build dashboards, charts, and reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools
• Support the team in A/B testing, KPI tracking, and performance measurement
• Document insights and present findings to mentors and senior analysts
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams for data-driven improvements
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality checks
• Assist in automating repetitive analytics tasks through Python scripts (optional)

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
• Strong understanding of Excel/Google Sheets, formulas, and pivot tables
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib (bonus)
• Understanding of basic statistics, data visualization, and reporting
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work with teams and deliver tasks within deadlines
• Prior project/internship experience in data analytics is a plus
